WoodblockGenerator gives woody percussion a dedicated one-shot instrument. Its Modern, Acoustic and Hybrid synthesis models offer different approaches to the attack and resonant body.

What it does

  • Explore three authored synthesis families alongside private recorded voices.
  • Keep independent controls for each synthesis model.
  • Preview stereo waveforms and adjust output, pan and velocity response.
  • Use chromatic key follow for tuned woodblock patterns.

Using the plugin

Trigger short patterns with MIDI or audition a single hit in the editor. Adjust the model and dynamics until the hollow tone remains audible without crowding the snare or hi-hat.

Project status

Private Windows VST3 development build. Recording-backed banks remain private.
