SubGenerator combines a tuned sine sub, a harmonic body and a procedural rumble layer. Its finite one-shot design lets impacts and long tails ring naturally after the triggering note ends.

What it does
- Start from 64 factory presets for cinematic impacts and low-frequency movement.
- Shape sub tuning, pitch sweeps, amplitude envelopes, harmonic color and rumble decay.
- Choose twelve procedural noise sources, with texture width and movement controls.
- Add shockwave, metallic resonance, space bloom, echo, ring modulation and crushing effects.
Using the plugin
Choose a preset, trigger a MIDI note or press Trigger, then tune the pitch sweep and tail to the scene. Use the waveform preview to judge the next hit and enable overlapping voices when several impacts should ring together.
Project status
Windows VST3 development project. The rumble and environmental-style textures are procedurally generated.
