SnareGenerator combines one-shot snare voices with an articulation-aware MIDI workflow. Center, Rimshot and Sidestick can be selected directly or assigned to separate notes for programming and performance.

What it does
- Switch between three stroke types using the editor or editable MIDI note mappings.
- Explore a component-derived 808 center voice alongside authored electronic, acoustic and hybrid models.
- Shape each model independently and inspect the stereo waveform preview.
- Adjust input routing, velocity response, audition velocity and optional chromatic key follow.
Using the plugin
Start with Center, then add rimshots for accents and sidesticks for lighter passages. Configure separate trigger notes in MIDI setup or use Selected stroke to play one chosen articulation from every key.
Project status
Private Windows VST3 development build. Some machine-named voices are explicitly procedural stand-ins; private recording banks are not offered for public download.
