SnapGenerator focuses on the compact attack and body of finger-snap-style sounds. Its Modern, Acoustic and Hybrid synthesis models provide different colors for sparse rhythms and layered beats.

What it does

  • Choose authored snap models alongside private recorded voices.
  • Keep independent synthesis settings for each model.
  • Audition stereo waveforms and adjust velocity, output and pan.
  • Use key follow when a transposed snap texture suits the arrangement.

Using the plugin

Start with a simple backbeat, set the snap's level and vary velocity for softer answering notes. Layer it with a clap or snare when a more defined attack is useful.
