SignalExchange Child sits at the end of a source track and participates in the SignalExchange level-management system. It measures the signal before its trim and shares that measurement with a Master instance.

What it does
- Name each source and view its pre-trim RMS and peak levels.
- Apply the track's Output Trim under the control of the SignalExchange system.
- Use a compact interface that can stay visible while working across several tracks.
- Choose Prismal or Midnight appearance independently from the Master editor.
Using the plugin
Place a Child at the end of each source chain you want to manage and give it a useful name. Route the programme audio through the bus containing SignalExchange Master, then use Master to inspect the group and coordinate trims.
