HiHatGenerator supports both programmed articulation notes and continuous playing. Closed, Half-open, Open and Pedal/chick voices combine with openness control and calibrated CC4 foot-pedal input.

What it does

  • Choose MIDI notes, continuous Openness or Pedal CC4 performance modes.
  • Edit articulation notes and calibrate the open and closed controller endpoints.
  • Close a ringing hat with pedal movement and configure automatic pedal-chick behavior.
  • Explore distinct synthesis models, recording slots, waveform previews and velocity controls.

Using the plugin

Map the articulation notes for a programmed groove, or calibrate CC4 for a physical pedal. Use half-open sounds and gradual closure to add movement between the fully closed and open positions.

Project status

Private Windows VST3 development build. Model implementations and recording availability vary; complete original-hardware calibration is not claimed.
