Development preview · Windows VST3
GranularSynth combines two independent grain layers with a library of authored sound materials, WAV import and live capture. Blend the layers and move through them with the XY surface to turn simple sources into playable textures.

What it does
- Explore 100 original layer sounds and 160 factory presets covering pads, keys, bass, drones and rhythmic material.
- Choose separate sources for layers A and B, including imported WAV files or captured audio.
- Shape grain position, size, rate, scatter, pitch and stereo placement.
- Use XY motion, modulation, filtering and effects; saved patches embed the selected sample material.
Using the plugin
Start with a factory patch, play MIDI notes and move the XY control. Load a recording into either layer when you want a personal source. The sample-explorer and live-capture templates need your own audio input.
Project status
